I've been at TC's Referee a few times. The staff is always attentive. Food is great and comes fairly quick. The food is complimented by the good service. I definitely will be back.

T.C.'s is a laid back sports bar with top-notch bar style food. Things I would recommend are the nachos, any of the burgers and the Texas toothpicks (Fried jalapeño and onion pieces, yum!) This place stands out as the best where there is lots of competition in the area.

I was looking forward to trying out T C's. I really like to stop by local sports bars when I'm traveling, especially when it's Monday or Thursday night football. Right when I walked in I was greeted and seated by a young man. He was very polite. I sat in my booth close to five minutes before being approached. In that time, I was able to watch some football on their handful of televisions, all perfectly angled so no booth or table goes without. My server, Macy, was kind but it seemed forced. She never asked how the food was when it came, she asked if I wanted dessert before i was done eating and brought the check after I said no, I was still eating. I could have wanted another beer, I didn't, but I felt rushed. I ordered a Miller Lite, 34oz and it was only $5.00. For food I ordered the Ref Salmon with mashed potatoes and country gravy and a side salad with balsamic Italian dressing. The salad came out first and I was pleasantly surprised by how great the dressing was. I could have eaten two salads before my meal it was so good. It wasn't long after I finished my salad that my meal was in front of me. I was disappointed from first sight. Maybe it was my expectations, but the Bourbon Honey glaze that topped the salmon was runny and all over the plate. Way too much. I also would have rather the salmon was marinaded in the glaze, then cooked. It did come with two portions of salmon though, which is more than I was expecting. It was obvious there was no care taken to clean the grill or griddle before cooking the salmon. It tasted like charred burger and even had bits of char that I brushed off. The salmon was cooked nicely. I wondered if it came in frozen, due the slightly rubbery texture around the edges. The mashed potatoes were a little cold, masked by the heat of the country gravy, which was delicious. The mashed potatoes would have been a grand slam had they been hot. The flavor and texture was amazing and by far the best part of my entree. I didn't try the dinner roll because i was full. There again, I may have eaten it first (because I tend to do that) if the butter wasn't fresh out of the fridge and rock hard. I placed it between the hot bread to see if it would melt before I finished. It didn't, but it didn't matter I was stuffed. Macy redeemed herself when I went to check out. I tried to pay with my company card, only to have it declined. I wasn't sure why that would be the case, so I asked her to punch in the numbers. She did, to no avail. I used my personal card. After sitting there, i thought about it and asked her to separate the beer and food to see if that worked, it didn't. A little confused, I thanked her for appeasing me and went back to the hotel. After calling my bank, I find out that TC's has themselves listed as a packaged liquor and beer establishment as opposed to a sports bar and eatery. Something to note if you're traveling for business with alcohol restrictions. TC's is not a place I would recommend, but it's not a place I would refuse to go if someone suggested it to me.

Delicious food, but the slowest service I've ever had. I had the buffalo chicken wrap at 1:00 for lunch on a Thursday and there were less than 15 people in the entire restaurant...yet, the wait for food after ordering was nearly an hour. Also, each of the six people at my table ordered a drink and not one of us was carded, and we are all in our 20s. This place has great food and atmosphere, but the mistakes that are happening are big ones for the restaurant business. Lunch was around $20 for my wrap and drink. I probably will not return.

We had never been there before. We went early since it was a Friday night. The staff was friendly and the food was great. A good casual place to meet friends or take your family.

I'm new to Sioux Falls and have been trying out the various sports bars and grills when the Packers aren't on local telelvision. T C's Referee had an extensive menu for a sports bar, with options ranging from steak and pasta to burgers and sandwiches and just salads. I tried the wings with the parmesan and garlic sauce, and a Kirby Club. The wings were excellent, large and meaty and the sauce was tasty. The club was pretty good as well, great portions with a nice toasted bread. The waiter in my area was excellent. Fast service and attentive. 5 out of 5 stars is the only possible outcome with this first experience.

The 10-15 minute wait turned into 25-30. It was 82 degrees inside the restaurant and in the low 70s outside. Our server took 20 minutes to take our order and from sitting down to getting served the entrees was over an hour. A salad took 45 minutes to show up. Apart from all of this, the food was subpar at best and the presentation was lackluster. I won't be back.

Very high quality food for a sports bar, was taken by surprise especially because its so reasonably priced. Will be back often.

Placed was packed on a Friday night. Had a little wait, but it was worth it. We had the wings and they were darn good. The pesto pizza was also surprisingly good. Nice selection of beers too. Many tvs to watch sports. Highly recommended.

T.C. Referee is a little local sports bar and grill. Don't let that fool you though because the food is of very high quality. They have everything from burgers to steaks. All are excellent. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly. Price is average for the area. Update: We had not been to TC referee for several months. Don't know if its common but the waitress we had was very poor. The order was messed up and she never came to check on us until we were nearly finished.

Passing through town and this place was recommended by the hotel staff. Great call! The food was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place is also loaded with flat screen TV's but by no means loud.

Had the chicken diablo. It was a chicken breast with peppers onions and about 5 pounds of cheese melted on top. Also had the Texas toothpicks which were deep fried slices of onion and jalapeño. Food was good as far as sports bar food goes. The best part was the $5 33oz domestic beers and the $7.50 33oz New Belgium brews. I have to pay $5 a pint for fat tire around here.
